SANTA CLAUS SHOP
This organization runs like a toy store in which the children are given an amount of points to
spend in the store and they shop for their own toys.
Locations, dates and more information are based on county where the child resides
TOYS FOR TOTS
1 toy per child is provided
SALVATION ARMY
After completing the intake process, families/guardians are assigned a “caseworker” who will
contact the family about more information if they are approved to receive toys and food through
the Adopt A Family program
DENVER INNER CITY PARISH - CHRISTMAS GIFT
DISTRIBUTION
The Christmas Gift Distribution through DICP is for families in need of a gift for their child
during the Holidays
DENVER INNER CITY PARISH – THANKSGIVING MEALS
DICP offers two Thanksgiving dinners. The dinners are free and open to the community.
A PRECIOUS CHILD
During the holiday’s, A Precious Child collects the top three wishes of children in need and
partners with various churches, organizations, and individuals to fulfill each child’s wish!
DOLLS FOR DAUGHTERS & TOYS FOR BOYS
This is an event where families can “shop” for a toy for each child
THE ACTION CENTER
The Action Center provides Thanksgiving Food Boxes and a Santa Shop for residents of
Jefferson County
THE DENVER RESCUE MISSION – ADOPT A FAMILY PROGRAM
The Denver Rescue Mission has their annual Adopt A Family program and foster families are
eligible (assuming the children won’t be moved between the nomination time and Christmas)
but they must be nominated by you (or another service provider)
THE DENVER RESCUE MISSION – MEALS
The Denver Rescue Mission will be providing Thanksgiving and Christmas meals
CASH ASSISTANCE AND HUMAN SERVICES
Counties in Colorado provide low income families and struggling individuals with financial
assistance and social services
