Hometown: Born in Long Beach, raised in Colorado!

First Concert: Michael Jackson- The Victory Tour (Shamone!)

Instruments: Piano & Really Loud Car Singing

Match made in heaven: Friends & Hilarious Card Games 

Would love to learn: All the lyrics to “We Didn’t Start the Fire” 

Sports/outdoor recreation: Skiing & Patio-Hopping

Bringing to the potluck: Bread…warm, soft, buttery bread 

People Don’t Know:  I write & illustrate goofy books for my kids, nieces, and nephew.

Food Addiction: Bread…warm, soft, buttery bread

Top 5 Accomplishments:

• Passed along my freckles to BOTH my children

• First in my family to graduate from college (and grad school!)

• Purchased my own home

• Survived Jr. High and High School being called “Frog” (thank you, my darling sister.)

• Have a career in a field I’m passionate about and enjoy!

 

Jill Oulman - Project Coordinator

Sports/Outdoor Recreation: Sitting at the beach

People don’t  know: I was on a “game show” scavenger hunt on TBS

Food addiction: Sweets – all of them!

• Receiving a Masters degree,

• My 2 (soon to be 3) children

• My marriage

• Getting accepted at my 1st choice college

• Moving to 7 different states (successfully)

 

Shelly Linenberger - Resource Coordinator

Would love to learn: How to stay care-free no matter how old I get 

Sports/outdoor recreation: Walking my dog, watching my son play football

Bring to a potluck: chicken enchiladas 

People Don’t Know:  I drove a school bus when I looked young enough to be one of the passengers!

Food Addiction: Chocolate 

Top 5 Accomplishments:

• Being happily married for 20+years

• Learning the art of parenting a tween and teen 

• Being comfortable with who I am 

• Finding a career I love

• Being a part of a small Christian church planting in Boise, Idaho 

 

Michelle Betsch - Resource Coordinator

Home town:  Aurora Colorado

First Concert:  Virginia Court Elementary School Holiday Program (I was a Bear)

Instruments: I played the cello for 3 weeks

Match made in heaven:  Popcorn and Movies

Would love to learn:  To enjoy running

Sports/Outdoor Recreation: Yes please

Bringing to the potluck: Paper products, I can’t cook

People don’t  know: I once got 3rd place at a gymnastics meet, but there were only 2 competitors

Food addiction: Diet Soda

• I can spin a basketball on my finger

• I have survived single parenthood (so far)

• I accidently set myself on fire twice

• I’ve never broken a bone

• I can drive a mini-van and serve chicken nuggets at the same time

Sports/Outdoor Recreation: Long distance running, hiking and show shoeing

Bringing to the potluck: Chocolate tofu mousse

People don’t  know: I dated a famous person before they became famous

Food addiction: Nachos

Top 5 accomplishments: 

• Over 400 nights under the stars

• Still married to the same husband after building 5 houses

• Hiked 3 weeks on the Colorado Trail solo

• Traveled to 12 countries outside the US

• Finally found the perfect balance between work, family and personal time

 

Erin Rediger - Project Assistant

Home town: Denver, Colorado

First Concert: The Dixie Chicks.

Instruments: Piano, but I mostly sing.

Match made in heaven: Milk and cookies, duh.

Would love to learn: How to draw.

Sports/Outdoor Recreation: Barre class, going on walks in the park.

Bringing to the potluck: My Grandma’s Toffee Bars, chocolate buttery goodness! 

People don’t  know: My family and I will sing four part harmony whenever we’re together.

Food addiction: CHOCOLATE…was that too intense…

Top 5 accomplishments: 1.

• Graduating from Metro with a Human Services degree

• Not falling apart while giving my maid of honor speech at my sister’s wedding (maybe I fell apart a tiny bit) 

• Being a goof ball, no matter what! 

• Being in a relationship with my  boyfriend  and best friend for 5 years

• Answering all these questions

Something People Don’t Know: As a child I could jump rope while hopping on a pogo stick
