Mentoring Celebration
On March 21st, COPARC and its five mentoring match pairs had a blast celebrating the mid-year point of the Mentoring Program’s inaugural year at X-Arena in Thornton, CO! Kids, parents, and staff alike flew, flipped and jousted the morning away, then topped it off with a lunch time pizza party! Matches got the chance to spend time together and strengthen their mentoring relationship, while meeting other members of the program and their families. Participants shared that some of their favorite things about the mentoring program included the friendship, support, and connection that developed in their mentoring. relationships.
